Mt Cook

Just returned from a great weekend near Mt Cook. We spent 3 days salmon fishing in the hydro canals, targeting escapee salmon from the farms, as well as large resident trout. We were very successful on both counts, with dozens of fish caught by all anglers each day, and returning to Wanaka at the end of the trip with plenty of fresh salmon to keep us going through the next couple of winter months.
