After a couple of weeks of settled weather, things are on the move again, with a fair bit of wind pushing around, and hopefully some much needed rain on the way. With the rivers low and clear, the trout become increasingly wary, and very sensitive to any changes in their environment, such as a sloppy cast arriving right on their head!
Saying that, we are having some excellent fly fishing, with cicada dry flies being order of the day, and green beetles finally loosing their popularity, although Peter C. from Hong Kong was certainly glad his lovely 8.5lb brown hadn’t forgotten what they looked like!
