I came to New Zealand with all the latest fly fishing gear but having never caught a trout on it and very little ability to cast a fly. I had the greatest holiday in memory tramping through pristine areas of New Zealand catching a bag of fish (see picture of 7lb brown), and left with the ability to put a fly fairly close to where it needed to be put. This was all a consequence of your patience and guidance and I will recommend you to any of my friends that are considering a NZ fly fishing adventure.
